CDL-A Trainee Truck Driver | Paid Training Program | Salt Lake City, UT

No Class A Experience Required — Paid Training from Day One

If you’re a newly licensed CDL-A driver in the Salt Lake City metro area and ready to launch your trucking career the right way, this paid CDL-A trainee program offers structured on-the-road training, experienced mentorship, and a direct path to a solo OTR driving position with consistent miles and reliable weekly pay.

This is a career-focused trainee opportunity built for stability and long-term growth — not a short-term or high-turnover role.

Pay & Compensation

• Training Pay: $650 per week for the first 4–6 weeks

• Solo Pay After Upgrade: $1,000–$1,400+ per week

• Mileage Pay: $0.43–$0.51 CPM after training (based on experience)

• Stop Pay: $15 per stop once upgraded

• Pay Frequency: Weekly direct deposit

Most drivers upgrade to solo quickly once training requirements are completed.

Equipment & Freight

• Assigned late-model automatic tractors after solo qualification

• No-touch dry van freight

• Mix of drop & hook and live load/unload

• Nationwide freight lanes

This freight mix allows new drivers to focus on learning, safety, and building confidence.

Schedule & Operating Area

• OTR Schedule: 12–14 days out with a 34-hour home reset

• Operating Area: 48-state OTR after training

• Home Base: Salt Lake City, UT metro region

This is a true over-the-road position designed to build experience and consistency.

Program Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license (recent graduates encouraged)

• Willingness to run OTR for two consecutive weeks

• Must live within 200 miles of Salt Lake City, UT

• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism
