Most popular items include : jasmine rice, canned coconut beverages, coconut milk, ready to cook noodles, mung bean and frozen durian.What You’ll Do
As a Class B Truck Driver at our Commerce facility, N.A Trading Company, you will be responsible for safely operating 26ft (or longer) box trucks to transport goods over designated routes. This is a local driver position that requires deliveries to restaurants.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition. Report any maintenance issues promptly to management.
Safely load and unload goods using proper lifting techniques, ensuring that cargo is securely stowed as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure timely completion of all required paperwork.
Provide exceptional customer service by delivering goods punctually and addressing any customer concerns or inquiries courteously.
Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and traffic laws, including compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) requirements.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and colleagues to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
Qualifications
Valid Class B commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record, with no more than 4 points on your license in the last 5 years and no at-fault accidents within the same period.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class B box truck driver.
Demonstrated knowledge of all local traffic laws and regulations.
Ability to demonstrate safe driving skills.
Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Experience working independently and as part of a team.
