Temp-to-Hire Pre-Press

Bloomington, MN

Must have experience with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign

Client company is looking for someone to join their team who’s familiar with pre-press work and comfortable using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign . You’ll be working with artwork, editing files, and getting them ready to print on both digital and screen presses.

You don’t need to know everything right away — they can train on some of the finer details — but a solid understanding of those two programs is a must.

What you’ll be doing:

• Take artwork and edit it in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
• Prepare files so they’re ready to print on digital and screen presses
• Help with layouts of parts on sheets (ex: figuring out how many 2” parts fit on a 24x48 sheet, or if gutters are needed)
• Work with others to make sure artwork is press-ready and accurate
• Assist with layouts for quoting and other small projects around the shop or office

What we’re looking for:

• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
• Good math and problem-solving skills — someone who can think things through logically
• Flexible and willing to help wherever needed (shop or office)
• A team player who’s open to learning and growing
