Nino Salvaggio is currently looking for a Floral Designer for our Livonia location which is projected to open Late 2025. This position will train in one of our other locations of Bloomfield, Troy, Clinton Twp or St Clair Shores.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Confers with client/customer regarding price and type of arrangement desired while providing excellent customer service.
Design floral arrangements according to client/customer’s requirements.
Provide design expertise to other associates, as needed.
Pack and wrap completed arrangements.
Assist management with ordering product, supplies, etc. and ensuring proper inventory control to ensure freshness and product quality.
Process and Prepare (un-box, cut, water and sleeve flowers) and maintain floral displays per department guidelines.
Maintains good communication within the department, in the store and throughout the organization.
Clean the department including buckets, floor, counters, etc.
Merchandises general merchandise per company direction.
Greets customers and provides them with prompt and courteous service and/or assistance, per our Company customer service standards.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED, required.
One year related floral design experience, required.
Must be available to work on weekends.
Floral design certification, preferred.
Must be able to properly use all of the equipment in the department.
Excellent communication.
Must be able to stand and/or walk for 8 or more hour periods.
Must be able to regularly bend, lift and/or move 25 pounds.
