• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating,
• Provide compassionate support to residents with daily needs and activities.
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Plan and prepare meals
• Assist with physical therapy exercises
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary
• Servers Responsibilities
• Prepares therapeutic desserts and salads as required
• Serves meals in the health center pantries
• Sets up tables in the health center dining room(s) and breaks them down after the meals
• Transports hot and cold foods to and from the health center pantries
• Transports all required non-food items to and from the health center pantries
• Washes silver, glass, china in dish machines in pantries as per regulation
• Provides health center snacks and supplements per diet orders
• Maintains stock and sanitation levels in coffee and juice machines in dining rooms
• Sets tables and maintains work stations in proper order
• Takes order, provides service and requested items both graciously and courteously
• Clears dishes from tables during and after meal service
• Answers pertinent questions about menu items
• Ensures that orders match Physician’s diet orders
