Location: Remote (with up to one on-site day per month in Harrisburg, PA 17120)
Duration: 6-Month Contract
"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking an experienced QA Tester to support comprehensive testing efforts across multiple platforms and environments. This role plays a critical part in ensuring software quality through strategic test planning, execution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Senior-level testers are expected to lead testing initiatives, support release processes, and mentor junior team members.
Key ResponsibilitiesReview and apply the Test Team work plan and overall testing strategy
Lead and support Test Team processes and daily testing activities
Identify, track, mitigate, and resolve testing risks and issues proactively
Develop contingency plans and research issues prior to escalation
Mentor and guide testers to strengthen technical and testing capabilities
Build a strong understanding of system functionality and business requirements
Support application teams with component, integration, and assembly testing
Define and maintain test plans, acceptance criteria, and entry/exit criteria
Create and maintain testing standards, procedures, and documentation
Plan, manage, and maintain test environments
Coordinate testing efforts with QA teams, application teams, and program managers
Track estimated time to complete (ETC) versus actuals for assigned tasks
Develop and maintain test artifacts, including test cases, scripts, data, and models
Conduct walkthroughs, inspections, and defect reviews
Execute release testing and validate installation procedures
Provide clear, accurate, and timely status reporting
Ensure compliance with quality standards and testing best practices
Deliver assigned tasks independently while collaborating effectively with team members
Stay current with industry trends and apply relevant testing methodologies
Agile software testing experience: 4+ years (Required)
iOS mobile testing experience: 3+ years (Required)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical training ( Highly Desired )
