Shift: Variable (Operating hours 6:45 AM 11:15 PM), 40 hours/week with holiday and call coverage; call 24/7, assigned 1 2 times per week plus up to 2 weekends per month, must be within 30-minute radius for call-back

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced OR RN to join a busy surgical team. The ideal candidate has 2 3 years of circulating experience in a hospital setting, with the ability to scrub cases preferred. This role involves circulating cases, assisting with room turnover and cleaning, transporting patients, and scheduling procedures. You will independently support a wide range of surgeries, including General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology procedures, ensuring efficient and safe patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently circulate surgical cases and assist with case turnover and room preparation.

• Transport patients to and from the OR as needed.

• Schedule and coordinate surgical cases efficiently.

• Utilize OR equipment and systems, including Meditech and PYXIS, following established protocols.

• Collaborate with surgical and perioperative teams to ensure patient safety and workflow efficiency.

• Participate in call rotation, responding promptly within 30 minutes as required.

• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and dress code (scrubs provided).

Qualifications & Skills:

• Registered Nurse with active Hawaii RN license.

• Minimum 2 3 years of OR circulating experience in a hospital setting; scrubbing experience preferred.

• Current BLS/BCLS certification.

• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work variable shifts and respond effectively during call assignments.
