Requisition Summary

Kenworth Division IT team is looking for a highly motivated Intern who is interested in gaining professional IT operations experience in an industry-leading manufacturing company to join our 2026 Internship Program in Kirkland, WA. We are pleased you are seeking an internship with PACCAR and wish you the best of luck!

Internships are scheduled to begin in May or June 2026

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Provide The World’s Best™ IT service to Kenworth Employees
  • Install, maintain, and support PC infrastructure including hardware and software.
  • Assist customers with troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Identify and resolve complex technical problems involving PCs and related hardware and software.
  • Assist with analysis of IT projects, including the definitions of requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Assist with creation of project plans for upcoming projects
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to enhance department operations.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. 
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail including ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Must be a team player and able to work effectively in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Computer hardware and/or software troubleshooting experience

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Progress pursuing one of the following degrees: Information Systems, Computer Science, or other related programs.

The salary range for internship positions is $25 an hour for undergraduate students and $30 an hour for graduate students.
