JOB POSTING TIG WELDER

If you have experience in Aviation as a TIG Welder or the attitude and

aptitude to become a welder and looking for a fantastic

seats for automobiles. We have grown over the years and now

we supply tubes and sheet metal parts to a variety of aviation companies

Job Objective: Committed to being part of a positive working environment

while providing quality products and meeting customers

schedule. Reads blueprints, specs, and welds quality parts per plan

specification.

Essential Job Functions:

Perform a variety of approved welding techniques to required tolerances

per engineering specifications.

Read and understand product and process drawings, procedures, weld

symbols, and quality requirements.

Make adjustments, within procedural limits, to fine tune the process in

order to achieve product conformance.

Perform full set-up and maintain to assure quality and repeatability.

Document and log all parts as necessary and maintain all required

paperwork in an accurate and current manner.

Accurately inspect and appropriately process all work performed;

Discover/detect defects, analyze and take correction.

Demonstrates effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication

skills, as well as the ability to work in a team

environment.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds,

frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally

lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

The employee is required to walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; the

use of feet, hands, and fingers.

Work Environment:

Preferred 1st and 3rd shift.

Manufacturing shop environment

The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles,

toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Preferred Training

AWSD17.1 GD&T

Past aircraft welding experience a plus

Proficient in the use of hand/power tools

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Willing to train if the candidate has the right attitude and aptitude.

2 - 3 years welding TIG and Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) experience.

Experience welding stainless, aluminum and titanium preferred.

Must have experience reading precision measuring instruments (calipers,

micrometers, etc.)

Good mechanical skills.
