Echo Technologist - Echo Tech
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday 8-hour shifts with staggering start times between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM
• No holidays, weekends, or on-call requirements
• Daily caseload of 4-10 cases per technologist
• Float between SJCH and SMP (North Charleston clinic)
• 2 years of experience required, first-timers accepted
• Must hold Registered Pediatric Sonographer (ARDMS) with PE certification or CCI with RCCS certification at time of start
• Must be proficient in complex congenital heart defects
• Experience with GE (vivid 95) and PACS system entering full reports preferred
• Extensive knowledge of complex heart disease and defects required
• BLS certification required
• Radiation badge not required
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Must be proficient in scanning pediatric echocardiograms
• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams
