2nd Shift Supervisor - Recycling Plant - Base Salary to 75k/year - York, PA

• Our client is a recycling facility that focuses in the processing of paper, plastics, and metals.
  
• The team is seeking a 2nd Shift Supervisor to assist with the growth and development of the team. The 2nd Shift Supervisor will execute the daily production plan in a safe and efficient manner. The 2nd Shift Supervisor will train on first shift and then transition into 2nd shift which is 3pm - 1am Monday - Thursday.

Responsibilities:

• Manage 2nd shift team
  
• Track key metrics for department
  
• Complete daily production/logistics plan
  
• Assist with tracking of inbound materials, shipping/receiving, maintenance of equipment, and overall shredding and baling process
  
• Operate all facility equipment
  
• Train & mentor team

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma, plus for higher education
  
• 1+ years working in a Supervisor role in a manufacturing setting; team would consider a Team Lead looking to advance their career
  
• Familiarity with recycling and scrap industry
  
• Background in paper, plastics, and/or scrap is a plus
  
• Ability to operate all facility equipment - shredder, baler, skid steer, forklift, etc
  
• Ability to mentor and discipline employees as needed

Compensation:

• Our client is offering a base salary up to 75k/year along with a comprehensive benefits package including 401k with employer match & quarterly profit-sharing incentive.
