Job Description

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled IT Systems Administrator to join our team and help optimize and support critical IT infrastructure, including virtualization, networking, and telecom systems. In this role, you will also provide Level 2 technical support, troubleshoot complex system issues, and contribute to infrastructure upgrades and projects to enhance productivity and ensure system stability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Monitor and maintain VMware environments to ensure optimal performance.
• Support and configure VoIP systems and telecom configurations.
• Proactively identify and resolve system issues to minimize downtime.
• Design scalable and redundant IT solutions to improve productivity.
• Provide Level 2 technical support for escalated user issues.
• Collaborate with the IT team on infrastructure projects and upgrades.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of IT experience, with at least 1 year in a Systems Administrator role.
• Experience managing network infrastructure and virtual environments.
• Familiarity with VMware and VoIP systems (ShoreTel experience is a plus).
• Knowledge of security compliance and Linux systems is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Hourly Rate: $32 $48/hr, based on experience
