Hospitality Spotlight is looking for a Sales and Marketing Director for a luxury hotel in Austin, TX

The Work:

• Lead by example at all levels of execution
  
• Manage sales and marketing team while also selling.
  
• Create a local, regional and national sales plan to include all markets.
  
• Relationship building with established business clientele while focusing on the goal of obtaining new business.
  
• Attend industry trade shows and become involved with the local community to benefit the hotel
  
• Prepare and maintain Sales and Marketing budget
  
• Additional responsibilities are required
  

What you’ve already done (requirements):

• Full-service Independent boutique and brand hotel experience required
  
• 4+ years of experience as Director of Sales & Marketing with a luxury full-service hotel
  
• Thinks critically and objectively; has excellent problem solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions based on business demands
  
• Has a passion for hospitality, demonstrated by a progressive hotel career
  
• Developed interpersonal, adaptive influencing and supervisory management skills
  
• Researched, solicited and sold to new local, regional and national groups
  
• Technology and social media savvy
  
• Involvement with the local community and attended industry trade shows
  
• Team player with the ability to multitask
  
• Excellence in business ethics and integrity
  
• B.A. Degree preferred
